Hello and welcome! I’m Ashley Fay, a Strategic Enterprise Documentation Consultant, Agile Writing Expert, and Senior Technical Writer & Illustrator with over 13 years of experience transforming complex ideas into clear, engaging content that empowers teams, clients, and end users.

I’m the Founder of TechFlow Strategies, where I lead enterprise documentation projects for organizations in IT, FinTech, SaaS, Aerospace, Legal, and Government sectors. My approach combines empathy, strategy, and innovation—anchored in my proprietary AIM Method (Assess, Implement, Maximize)—to deliver scalable documentation solutions, knowledge bases, and process automation that drive efficiency and growth.

 

What I Do

 

I specialize in building documentation ecosystems from the ground up:

• Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Knowledge Bases, and User Manuals

• Crafting API Documentation, Developer Docs, and Onboarding Playbooks

• Leading Digital Adoption Initiatives using platforms like WalkMe and Pendo

• Creating Audit Documentation for compliance (SOC 1, SOC 2)
  And yes, I’m a sucker for Style Guides that ensure consistency and clarity across all touchpoints.

 

My Journey

 

I’ve worked with global brands and startups alike—companies like Kodella, Prime Focus Technologies (DAX), and Honeywell Aerospace—where I built documentation functions from scratch, scaled teams, and contributed to major milestones (like helping Kodella earn NetSuite Premiere Partner status).

But beyond the titles and deliverables, I’m driven by empathy, curiosity, and strategy. As an INFP and someone with StrengthsFinder themes like Strategic, Empathy, Input, Intellection, and Learner, I bring deep listening, thoughtful problem-solving, and an intuitive sense for what people need in order to succeed.

 

My Heritage & Values

 

I’m a proud Irish-Lebanese American, currently planning on taking my business international. My heritage and experiences inspire me to build inclusive, cross-cultural teams that thrive on mutual respect and shared knowledge.

 

As a breast cancer survivor and advocate for wellness in tech, I am deeply committed to creating processes that support both productivity and well-being—for myself and the teams I collaborate with.
